ClearSlide Acquires SlideRocket to Expand Its Rich Presentation Capabilities for Sales Teams

SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – March 5, 2013

ClearSlide, provider of the leading sales engagement platform, today announced the acquisition of SlideRocket from VMware, Inc. By integrating SlideRocket’s breakthrough presentation innovations into ClearSlide, ClearSlide will further enable sales teams to engage customers more effectively and close more business. The acquisition has been approved and closed, effective immediately.

Founded in 2006 and with more than one million users, SlideRocket reinvented presentations by adding interactive capabilities like video, audio, rich media, and analytics in a hosted platform to elevate storytelling and deliver tangible results.

Additionally, presentation analytics information will be integrated so that sales leaders will have quantifiable data on the effectiveness of content and its impact on the sales cycle.
